    Yep, it's new... so new that Marantz hasn't even listed it on their website yet.
    Went to my AV store, to purchase either the RP-62 or 82 or the PhilipsDVDQ50AT
    This unit replaces the one that sold for twice it's cost last year. We did a comparison of picture and wow... this unit kicks ass...[​IMG]

    looks great...I'll have to go and check this unit out. I'd like to find an RP-82 quality deinterlacing machine with an overall better build quality.

    So far it has not disappointed... (then again my old Toshiba was nearly 3 years old).
    Still playing with it... musically I find the sound opened up, even just for the background sound on film. I wasn't expecting that, but it really was noticeable, even though the output was coax on the old as well.
    Bonuses like that are always nice.
