I recently just bought a pair of B&W DM 602 S3 speakers and the CC6 S2 center channel to start my home theather. The only thing I am missing is a receiver. I was looking at the Marantz 7200. Is this a good rceiver for my money or is there another receiver that you would recommend ... Any suggestions would help .... thanks in advance

Hi JordanG, we have similar speakers. I have the DM601 S3 for my fronts and the LCR60 S3 for the center. I have the SR7200 and I'm very, very happy with it. It is a perfect match to B&W's detailed speakers.
I auditioned Denon 2802 but the Marantz sounded better in Music especially in Source Direct mode. My office mate is now shopping for the 7200 as well but he's already been waiting for 1 month... It's all out-of-stock.
Check out www.audioreview.com since I posted a review on the SR7200 there. Check out this detailed review as well:

There were power supply defects when the 7200 was launched in 2001 but Marantz fixed and recalled all of them already.

The 7200 is a great receiver for B&W speakers and a Home cinema system that you like to listen to music to aswell, although you may wish to wait for the 7300 which is imminent for release, although their should be some great bargains on the 7200 coming up.

The 7200 is great with B&W 600 series speakers, and has a very high performance/value ratio.

    Go for it!
