    Hi:

I have a Kenwood Soverign DV-5900M DVD changer. One of the discs fell over & now it will not open. How do you open it manually?

    Thanks,
    Chris

Should be some screws to take the casing off, just be careful to not break anything inside [IMG].

You may want to consider taking it to a professional repair facility just in case, if they break it, they'll owe you a new player.

Depending on where the disc is stuck will depend on the ability to be removed.

I have a Sony 655 DVD 5 disc carousel. I took it apart.. it wasn't a big deal. Just lay it down, the way it supposed to be.. and unscrew certain screws (on the sony anyways) The screws were on the back, and the top cover slid off. took out the CD/DVD, and pop the case back on.. it's happen 1 more time after that.. but not a problem since.

    Thanks Everyone!

I just took the top off and took the disk out.

    Thanks,
    Chris
