Has anyone done this?
Last night I took the front panel off and removed the screen to get a peek inside to see what I am dealing with. Looks simple enough.
I've been to the SPot and done all the reading. I've done the electrostatic focus, but want to do the manual also.
I've been told that I can take off the back cover of the TV to make life really easy thus negating the removal of the screen.
Any helpful hits, suggestions before I go any farther?
Just a note: When I took the screen off I noticed that the inside was dusty and dirty with smudge marks on it. I plan on cleaning the screen and lenses when I take it apart next to do the focusing.
Peace Out~

I believe you can remove the pop down panel the one with the power button etc on it and do the manual focus without removing the screen or the back of the TV.
