Can someone PLEASE be so kind as to inform me if this dvd player will DEFINITELY play region 2 dvds as i dont want to spend 400 dollars if it doesnt, I live in Windsor Ontario and have dvds from ENGLAND will they for sure play them
any help will be very much appreciated

Yes, it will play all regions. This piece has a excellent
PAL to NTSC converter for the price. The remote is the worst ever.

Thank you Dean for your reply. If the remote is not very good can anyone reccomend a replacement thats a lot better

Andrew, I don't think I've seen a 3rd party universal remote that had codes for the Malata units built-in. The only solution would be to get a full learning remote that you could teach every button to. Although the Malata remote leave much to be desired, it does work.
