Of all of them, Ben Casey really needs an official release. I can't begin to say how many other shows of the decade referred to it. It was endlessly lampooned. Dr. Kildare wasn't mentioned nearly as much. It truly was a phenomenon in its day, so it seems inconceivable it wouldn't see an official DVD release.

I'm doubting whether or not it will ever be released on DVD as this is LONG OVERDUE.
Maybe eventually, it will be streamed by CBS as soon as they can get past their pathetic excuse for its non release...music rights issues. The syndication prints I saw on CBN in the late 80's, while not spectacular, looked good enough to put on DVD.
