What should I look at if Im willing to spend $1k on my mains and center together?

I can get the surrounds later, but I wanna make sure i match the center and mains.

Maybe Polk? Mission? are ther Klipsch is that range?

I can go a little more than the 1K if the difference is worth it, so dont hold back in that respect.

I have a Denon 3802. And i like it loud and not too warm.

    thanks in advance

There are a lot of good speakers in this range: Klipsch, Paradigm, Axiom, AR...
If you want it loud new Klipsch RF3 might be good choice - 100+ sensetivity is awesome, but you better listen to them before buying (personally, I didnt like them, make you feel like in the nightclub)
About the center channel, there was an interesting topic here:

Personally I like the nOrh SM 5.1 with marble 4.0 center. Should come in at $875 including shipping. Perhaps the Swan Diva 4.1s with C3 center would work. Def Tech, Paradigm, B&W, ACI, and possibly Dynaudio are others to consider. The DIY AV Reality Tetra is another option.
