Wow, I was going to start a thread inquiring about a DVD version of this stop motion animated cult classic and lo-and-behold I stumbled across this at Amazon...

Supposedly just came out August 19 although it seems like it was released last year?

    Check out the special features:

    -Production Art Gallery

    -Poster and Still Gallery

    -24 Page Booklet

It has been out for some time. I've had it for quite a while. Maybe they are re-releasing it at a lower price or something?

Hmm ok, I was a bit confused on the release date. I gotta have it though. What do you think of it, Steve? A 24 page booklet? What's that all about?

Yes, it was just repriced to a much more affordable price than WHAT I PAID FOR IT [IMG]

But I'm happy to have it, regardless of the price. [IMG]

Yes this came out last year along with The Wacky World of Mother Goose and The Daydreamer. All 3 are great Rankin Bass features and nice looking DVD's.

I didn't realize the other titles came out. Cool.

MAD MONSTER PARTY looks great. I don't remember the booklet being very impressive, but that didn't really matter to me anyway.

The disc that came out last year is missing a final line of dialogue at the end.....I contacted Rick G. at rankinbass.com and he said that he notified the studio. Don't know if it has been corrected or not.
