Found this today. (Flash 6 needed.)

    Mac Editor

Apologies to my Mac user friends. This was just too amusing. Enjoy! [IMG]

(Warning: Minor profanity during video. Don't turn it up too loud.)

I saw the actual video running around a few weeks back, much better quality, I will need to see if I can find it!

It might be funny if what he said were true. However, he seems to mix and match complaints between OS but nothing is even close to reality on either X or 9. Maybe if my Mac ever crashes again I'll re-evaluate. Seeing as the only time it crashed was when I browsed NTFS volumes with an opensource NTFS FS driver, I don't have much experience. The clown says you can fix anything with a DOS prompt. I guess he's never used a Unix shell then. If he did, then he would know how much a Mac is superior - on the command line!

No offense towards Tony, but after viewing the referenced animation, my conclusion:

Blah, blah, blah. Just an annoyingly stupid anti-Mac polemic.

Hit a nerve, didn't it, Walter? [IMG]

Where's the one where the user discusses how great gaming is on a Mac? [IMG]

I'd just like to point out that I found that on a friend's blog. He's a devout Mac user, and found it quite amusing. [IMG]

This isn't intended to start YET ANOTHER Mac vs. PC vs. Unix debate.

Just a bit of fun. [IMG]

(And Walter... no offense taken.) [IMG]

    Good. [IMG]

Having used Windows 95/98, Windows 2000, and Mac OS X 10.2, and dabbled with Suse Linux 8.2, I feel comfortable with my initial opinion. [IMG]

I can't stand it when a Mac user bashes a PC user or when a PC user bashes a Mac user.

Most of the time, their opinions are way too biased. I use BOTH and love them BOTH for entirely different reasons. The reason why these sorts of 'spoofs' are so annoying is because the people who make them usually have no idea what they are talking about.

It's kinda like the old saying (I forget the exact phrasing) "The one who knows the least is usually the loudest"

Whenever you hear someone say something like: "Well, (insert OS here) can't do (insert task here) better than (insert opposite OS here)"

I usually answer by saying this simple statement "I suppose you'd also be smug about blaming the toaster for not being able to wash your dishes". Meaning that all OS's are good at doing what they do best and to compare them is futile.

I have also given up the debate however I can take the video as a good laugh. Just as I find the video's of Mirosoft CEO Steve Ballmer jumping around on stage to be funny.

Developers, Developers, Developers, sorry it's the short version

My Mac vs PC arguement was simple, when I got my first computer, Macs cost twice as much and my brother was working a computer store (pc's) and thus my computer was loaded with "free" (pirated) software
since I was making like 8 dollars an hour at the time, price was the only consideration, now I just continue using Pc's because my games have made the switch to the new ones (I am on my third pc in 8 years, I keep them about 3 years till the new games won't run on my by then super slow system)

the business world uses PC's because the bottom dollar is everything and the arts industry (graphics) uses macs because they were better at it, this has changed but the arguement rages on and always will
