OK. Good to see that the 10.1 upgrade finally got the DVD player working again on the Mac. Well some macs, I have one that is supported.
The player is better than it was under OS 9.x and I'm fairly happy BUT, some of my DVD's still don't play.
Some do but Some don't and it seems random. The way that the fail varies. My "Hollow Man" DVD doesn't just never gets picked up at all by my DVD drive. I can simply eject the drive manually or from the f12 key and that's it. I tried a "Thunderbirds" disk last night that spun for about 30 minutes but would not fire up the DVD Player. Also, I could not eject it.
Is there something up with the DVD/ROM drive itself... does anypne else have similar problems with random disks... what is the solution (no not buying a new computer)
Thanks
