As far as Denon, all I know is that it is not as warm as the HK's. If you thought the Aperions were bright, I would go with the Ascends.

I think the the demand on the Ascends has been pretty high. Might have to wait a bit. So you might want to hold off on the Circuit City decorum for a bit.

Yup, a two week wait it is! I'm waiting rather impatiently for their arrival so I can banish my Kilpschs to my secondary system. BTW, talked to someone at Ascend yesterday, who said was that the demand for these puppies far outpaced their manufacturing capacity- hence the wait. And all this strictly by word-of-mouth! Dang these things must be good.....Anyway, in about a week, I'll find out

There has been a lot of interest lately in the Ascends...and I admit...I feed into it.

But I wouldn't do so if I didn't think they were a great value.

Curtis: Since you always ask, the project is still rolling along and I'm over 1/2 done with the final stage, but life is really busy at the moment. I'm hoping to be done by the end of next week, but then I have to send them back to DF for component installation.
