M&K hardware is very good, quite a few studio's rely on their hardware when mixing sound. The system you are talking about might be on the expensive side depending where you stand cash wise, other than that knock yourself out.

    S-5000 THX ULTRA System

This formidable system graces some of the world's finest and most expensive home theater installations. Widely exceeding THX requirements, it effortlessly reproduces the tremendous dynamics of discrete digital soundtracks, even in very large rooms. Yet, thanks to M&K enhancements, it also satisfies the critical audiophile with its subtle musical reproduction qualities. And for the very ultimate in low-frequency reproduction, the Stereophile magazine Class-A rated MX-5000 Mk II subwoofer is the reference standard for both home and professional use.

    Suggested Retail Prices:

Front Speaker: S-5000THX in Black Oak $ 1399 each

Surround: SS-500THX in Black Oak $ 1799 pair

Subwoofer: MX-5000 MK II THX in Black Oak $ 2899 each

If you really want to spend some dough, check out M&K professional, where each speaker has electronic crossover and amps in it!! [IMG]
All you'd need is a pre/pro, how clean is that? [IMG]
Yeah, they use M&K at Skywalker Sound (George Lucas' place), where they do post production audio for a large portion of blockbuster films.
