This is a CD by Dave Koz in collaboration with some other "smooth" jazz folk. It's being released on Sept. 24th.
I seen Dave a week or so ago in concert and he did a number or two from it, and they sounded pretty good.

Oh, you must check out Jason Falkner's "Bedtime With The Beatles-Instrumental Versions of Classic Beatles Songs-A Lullaby Album"...the perfect choice! Even comes in blue or pink covers.
Maybe you are not familiar with Jason Falkner but he is one talented dude...a virtual one man band. His "regular" albums (Presents Author Unknown and Can You Still Feel?) are true pop/rock delights.

Linda Ronstadt had a liitle album called "DEDICATED TO THE ONE I LOVE", almost all pop songs lullabized (neat new word?) for a baby.

The only classical piece on it is Brahm's Lullaby

Ted, that is it! I have it and it is great for a lullabye album.

It is so sad that Nicollette died, leaving behind a daughter and her husband, drummer Russell Kunkel.

Now, I guess, I will have to record to cd from LP all her albums that were never remastered to cd.

Yesterday morning a CBC program played Brahm's Lullaby sung by Dean Martin. Amazing!
It was beautiful, and I wondered if anyone else has heard it, or knows if it is on CD anywhere?
Since I could hear some crackling, I'm afraid it may have been an old vinyl album.

I wholeheartedly second Bedtime with the Beatles, which has been my 2-year-old's favorite for some time now. The pink and blue 'versions' are identical, except for the booklet colors.

My wife likes A Child's Gift of Lullabyes. It's OK. I've heard it so many times now that I can hardly stand it anymore.

Billy Joel has a pretty tune that he wrote for his daughter, "Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel)." Check that out as well.

A harder one to find, but a beautiful song: COTTON CANDY SANDMAN by Harper's Bizare. Unfortunately this was not included on their recent domestic CD anthology, and to my knowledge is available only on LP or import CD. Just gorgeous - my favorite song of theirs.
