While waiting for my NEC LT150 to arrive, I've started looking for a VGA to Component breakout cable. I'm planning to do a 45-foot run and have gotten estimates from two companies using two different cables.
I could go with Gepco miniRGB http://www.gepco.com/products/cable/...nirgbsnake.htm
or I could go with Canare V3-3CFB http://www.canare.com/v5cfb.html#v3cfb-anchor
They both would be using Canare RCA jacks and are within a few dollars of each other......which one should I get??
Also, what termination should I get for the VGA end of the cable - male or female?

How much for that long a run? I will be probably need about 30 or maybe 40 feet as well. I found ready made breakout cables for $54 for a 50' one.

The quotes I got were a bit expensive then.......
I got the Canare quote from www.haveinc.com and it's for $107.05. The Gepco came from www.avcable.com and it's for $113.40.
Saan mo nakuha yung quote mo?? It's half of what I'm thinking of getting!!

Unplug your monitor cable from your computer's video card. The LT150 uses the same termination. If memory serves that means using a male cable terminator.
I think I paid $125 for a 50' 5BNC to VGA for this projector. ~$50 seems like a heckuva deal to me. [IMG]
