Im on a small 300 budget..
today in Frys ad I saw an aiwa 450 watt home theater system with sub woffer.. and 5 speakers for 149
(factory refurbished) I called but they were sold out..

I sometimes see systems like this with a dvd player included for around 300 - 400
how are these hometheatre systems? i dont plan to blast the sound.. but I would like a nice experience for movies
& my karaoke machine
any suggestions.. I already have a couple dvd players.. so Im really just looking for the speaker with receiver systems..dts & dolbly..

try kenwood htb series. they might be suitable for you.

I am not a fan of htb's but pioneer's seem pretty good, my dad just bought one, it's the htb 505 or something like that. it's the dvd player and receiver in one! sounds pretty good actually!.....im sure if you upgrade the speakers, it would have been much better but to start it's great!
