WARNING: ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE TO FOLLOW

I have one 90 gallon and one 35 gallon tank in the room with my stereo. I don't think I have ever hit the 115db mark, (stereo only) but I do on ocassion listen fairly loudly. I can't say that I have ever seen the fish take any notice.

Somewhat Related Side Note:

My Ball Python, Boyd, who resides in the room above my home theater, formerly was not active when the sub was in use. Due primarily to the ability to feel vibrations in the lower jaw, he must have thought the largest animal in the world was walking around the room. I isolated the base of glass aquarium with a layer of 1/4 light density rubber sandwiched on each side by two layers of the stuff used in toolboxes to keep the tools from sliding around. Now he is mostly oblivious to the sub.

We did the same on my friend's 55 gallon aquarium, and noticed a great reduction in surface activity when his sub was running.
