I'm gratified that Lotus has seen fit to introduce a stylish line of crash helmets for cats.

I take the protection of pets seriously when driving them about. I'm always concerned when I see people in pickup trucks driving by with unsecured dogs riding in the back.

Our dogs (a Pom and a Yorkie) sit in car seats which tether to their harnesses and are anchored on both sides and the back of the seat. In the event of a collision or side impact, they are limited to just a couple inches of travel. In the event of a rollover, they would be a lot more likely to survive than if they were roaming loose in the cabin.
