Lots of Criterion announcements but no SPELLBOUND

    What's the deal, here? I thought they said it would be out about June...hope they're not trying to find Ingrid and Gregory for a commentary track....

    I'd love to hear a Gregory Peck commentary track on Spellbound !

    Last I heard it was due in late summer. Criterion hasn't announced their August titles yet so there's still some hope it'll be out by then......

    Julian, with Mr. Peck's aversion to the limelight throughout his whole career, it's not surprising that some folks might think he's passed on. I've always admired Peck for this reason, among others. The man is a good actor, and when he finds a role that suits him, he often excels in portraying it, but he's also just a good person, and doesn't care for notoriety in the least. Peck rocks. [​IMG]
    Now if only we could get Horatio Hornblower on dvd, dagnabbit!

    D'OH...can't imagine why I thought he had passed on....must have had a brain cramp..

    Although I'm not Peck-the-actor's biggest fan, I sure have a lot of films with him in it. Tells me that he is an excellent judge of a script.
