Lost the MIC for 45TX. What to do?

    It seems I've misplaced the MCACC setup mic for the 45TX during my move.

    Would any other microphone work, or does it have to be the Pioneer part. When I say "work", I mean work correctly and properly with the MCACC system...not necessarily just being able to pick up the sound pressure. If so, I'm guessing I have to call up Pioneer?

    damn...this sucks...

    Or maybe there's another member close to you who has one you can borrow. Of course, you'll probably want to have one anyways.

    It's not as bad as I thought...I was planning to spend about $20 on a cheapo microphone anyways...so this isn't bad.

    I wouldn't use a different microphone anyways, since each microphone has its own unique frequency response. I'm sure that any correction neccesary was taken into account for that particular model and using a different microphone could throw off your settings.
