I think it's fair to say that the contents of these tapes are well known to any diehard fan. There's talk now that thre will be official releases of CDs from these tapes. I cannot see the truly interesting stuff on these tapes ever getting an official release. Instead, *if* there ever is a release of stuff from them, it'll be a few dreary renditions of rock and roll standards or unreleased songs that remained unreleased for a very good reason - i.e. they were substandard. And what's the betting that like the Anthology series, we won't get the unadulterated original recordings, but 'improvements' made by splicing together different takes?
