Lost HD local channels! Help! (1 Viewer)

I went into the setup menu and re-scanned for local channels and it's now not picking up any of the digital signals. I'm using a Hughes HD Sat box. It's been working fine and I haven't changed anything.

Suggestions?

Can't believe I got more posts over at HomeTheaterSpot.com.

For anyone that is interested, this problem was NOT unique to myself. Apparently DirecTV pushed out an upgrade two nights ago that cleared the zip code in the "local" information of your receiver setup data. The result - no OTA locals.

Upon advice from folks on the other forum, I found out where to change that for my Hughes Receiver, added my zip code, and ta da....local channels in HD again.

I lost all of my SD and HD locals but getting them back was as easy as checking them off in my channel list. Other users had to put in their zip code and re-scan. Some people lost the ability to choose between gray and black sidebars. I haven't checked yet.
