I've heard bits and pieces of Los Lobos and almost always really liked their guitar-rich sound. Where should a newbie start in the Los Lobos catalog?

Kiko is their best, but perhaps not the best place to start. Try their debut.

I would go with the 2 disc collection. A great overview of their catalog and several fantastic live tracks.

Love to see Los Lobos being talked about here as they're, in my opinion, one of the best bands out there. I have most their CD's and would recommend you buy in the following order.

Just Another Band From East L.A. - a great compilation of all their phases.

    Kiko - their classic

    The Neighborhood

    Good Morning Aztlan

    Will the Wolf Survive/
