I'm not sure which forum to put this in, but since they're going to be showing movie clips during the performance of the soundtrack, I thought the movie forum would be fine.

I posted in the Two Towers discussion thread a few months ago about this symphony performance. On July 17, 2004 (yes, nearly a year from now), Howard Shore will be in Seattle to conduct Lord of the Rings: a Symphony in Six Movements with the Seattle Symphony and Chorale. It will be a performance of music from the trilogy accompanied by clips from the movies. Tickets are now available for individual performance (non-series) purchase, and range from $20 - $55 for the performance. There are 2 shows that day, one at 2pm, and one at 8pm. Hopefully some other HTF'rs will make it to this show, it looks like it will be amazing.
