Looney Tunes Platinum Collection Vol. 3? (1 Viewer)

There are some absolute classics in that list - a lot of repeats I'm sure (I haven't checked), but any Bob Clampett in hi-def has to get a thumbs up from me. Just "A Gruesome Twosome", "The Big Snooze", "The Hep Cat" and "Falling Hare" are enough to justify purchase for me.

Since the Platinums have generally been a mix of new to disc and upgrades from the GCs, I was hoping that Hare Brush would be included.Still waiting...

Still waiting on the extra features.

The alleged release date for this is August 12th, 2014 which seems legit given the leak today. If confirmed it will be the first Golden/Platinum set not released during the height of the holiday season.

Great lineup. It would have been nice, though, if they had included Porky's Duck Hunt so we wouldn't have to buy The Essential Daffy Duck just for one cartoon.

I suppose two disks (and Warner's quadrophobia) is the trade-off we have to pay for Hillbilly Hare and Easter Yeggs on Blu.And maybe, if we can keep them non-neurotically in the game, maybe we'll eventually get Hot Cross Bunny and Beanstalk Bunny on disk.
