Here's a link to a petition to get Looney Tunes (and Merrie Melodies) on DVD:

They have 1194 signatures so far. Add your own, and encourage others to do the same.
According to Jerry Beck, a cartoon expert who frequently consults with Warner Brothers home video, WB still, incredibly, has no real plans to release cartoons on DVD. This is ridiculous!

I signed it too.
WB is taking their time obviously, but we know that they can really do a great job with the cartoons.
I'd like to see Lowry Digital Images do their magic for the Turner-owned set of the cartoons (as well as the B&W cartoons) since a lot of them need remastering from the negatives.
I do want the DVD's soon, but I do want to wait until WB can give them the same high-quality remastering that was given to North By Northwest and Citizen Kane.
I'd take 2010 DVD's with excellent quality over 1997 DVD's with crappy quality.

I finally figured out what my DVD collection is missing ...
LOONEY TUNES. I noticed that someone wrote as their comment "Why have these not already been released?" Good question. How did we let these fine works of art slip through the cracks? Damn we suck!

I know there is a big interest in these. I sure want them. But from the looks of this thread, not as much as I would like.
