We all remember the network versions having scenes removed that were considered "violent".

Does anyone know if these DVD versions will be the original, uncut versions?

    Hope so.

Which versions? Has there been an announcement I haven't heard? There's a lot of interest expressed in getting these released in DVD on the cartoon forums & web sites I follow, and there's been nothing reported as of yet.

As for the question, who knows? If it's decided to direct them at the kids market, the danger of alterations will be higher than if they decided to go the Disney Treasures route and aim them at collectors. Let's hope the WB people are watching what Disney does (and that the Disney series is sufficiently successful commercially).

Don't worry. The classic WB cartoons are in good hands. They're fans AND are very passionate fans, to boot.
