    Hey guys,

Well, I recently went to COMPUSA to have a CD burner, 120 Gig HD and editing software installed on my computer.

It all went great, but I noticed exporting my home movies onto a VCD degrades the quality. So I'm thinking of getting a DVD burner. I want one that makes DVD-R/RW and also CD-R/RW's.

If anyone has one that you think is good, could you just post here. Maybe the company, model, the price, where you got it, etc.

I'm also curious in how you use it...is it for burning edited home movies, or something else, etc.

    THANKS

    Yes,
    VCD is low quality.

The Sony DRU510A/DWU12A and the Pioneer DVR-A06 both can write all formats.

    Try Newegg.com or Googlegear.com.
