Looking to build a housing cabinet, but must support 300lbs. (1 Viewer)

I decided on the sony 36"xbr450. I want to build a housing cabinet for the set but the darn thing weighs in at 235 lbs by itself. I have minor wood working expierience, and I want to build the cabinet mainly out of 3/4 in. oak-but the 250lbs has me a bit worried. Any suggestions on designs or links?

Some struts or supports inside the box at 12 in on center would do. Do you remember how water beds were supported? Kinda like building a box and then sectioning off the interior.
