Iam looking for a sub that is good with music for about $250.

if you can still find one probably only used these days the Energy EXL-S8 is a great little music sub, I've known people who use it with Maggies for low fill. Its an 8" ported enclosure and has an awesome response time making it very tight and musical. I've been very happy with mine, though its much more audibly heard than felt. Its far from being a room shaker but it definately has a prescence all its own.

Look into getting the Sony WM-40, I'm sure that you can get it for under $150...that is if you can still find one. Worth every cent!
