If you can wall mount, the Boston brackets work great and are only $20.

(N00B question :b) I thought the rear speakers were supposed to be placed at ear-level when standing? For me that's around 5'8" high...but all the speaker stands I see describe themselves as being no more than three feet tall. I'm guessing these stands are for the front speakers. If so, where/how can I find some cheap rear speaker stands for an avg. bookshelf speaker? I don't want to buy the wrong ones [IMG]

The best selection I know of, in all price ranges, is at audioadvisor.com. Trusty, reliable folks, too. Placed many orders and never had a problem with a purchase or a return.
