This is for my boss. The guy will be pleasantly surprised if it's inexpensive but that's just his cheap nature - he makes enough money to literally buy a thousand 42" plasmas a year.
He's not a videophile so most content will just be standard def TV and some DVDs - I doubt he'll be getting HDTV or HD-DVD or anything anytime soon. He just wants something that looks nice watching standard def TV, DVD movies, and so on.
Furthermore he's interested in a sort of 'slide up' mechanism that would house the TV and allow him to make the TV pop up from behind a piece of furniture by remote control. Any suggestions?
