    Hello,

I'm looking for recommendations for an HDTV ready T.V. with at least these features:

I like watching a tube, call me crazy.
    DVI input
    accept 720i and 1080i
Switch between DVI, S-Video, Composite easily
    16:9 aspect ratio

These are obviously the basic needs. All the rest of the extras are just that for me, extra.

I've been looking at the Sony KV-34HS510. It looks very attractive, though I wish they made one a notch smaller so I could better afford it. Are there other T.V.'s I should be considering?

    Thanks for your comments.

The only direct-view displays that can do both 1080i and 720p natively, that I know of, are from Princeton Graphics and Sampo. And both offer models that are 16:9 native. The Sony HS510 displays 480p and 1080i, and will do you just fine. The higher-end XBR910, which The Perfect Vision magazine considers the finest direct-view monitor on the market, would be even nicer (and it does only 480p and 1080i as well).
