Looking for Receiver to match B&W 602 S2s (1 Viewer)

I recently purchased the following speakers:

B&W 602 S2 (fronts)

B&W 601 S2 (surrounds)

B&W LC6 (center)

I am look for a good receiver match for this system. I am interested in the Denon 2802, Onkyo 696, Yamaha RX-V1200, Marantz 5200, etc. Has anyone used any of these receivers with B&W 600 series?

I have this exact same configuration, and am pushing it with a Marantz SR-8200. Marantz and B&W sound awesome together! I went from a Pioneer Elite VSX-26TX to the Marantz. The Pioneer sounded good with the B&W's, but failed on me. The Marantz sounds MUCH better, especially on the two-channel stuff. I initially purchased a SR-7200 (it had the usual run of problems) but traded up to a SR-8200, and am very happy with it. I hear they fixed the problems with the lower-end x200's now. Give it a try, just buy from an authorized dealer.

I got a Marantz 7200, had none of the issues reported, just love it. Just in case something does go wrong, you can always do like Pete and upgrade to the 8200
