Looking for new DVD player... (1 Viewer)

Hey gang, I'm expecting a refund back from Uncle Sam and wanted to use that money to get myself a new player.

I'm torn as to what to get, but I have a few brands in mind...

I'd like to keep it under $1000 and have been eyeing up the Denon 2910 or 3910 (how much better is the 3910)?

I'm also looking at a Sony ES

My TV does NOT have a HDMI input, so that's not a major selling point though it is a HDTV.

I'll be checking around the forum as well, but if anyone has any ideas or has any of these players - I'm all ears.

I was thinking of grabbing a new DVD player also, though I think I will chill for a while and see what happends with the HD players, and will see if the price drops on the nice SD ones when the HD's hit the market.
