A few months ago I bought a Sony MDP-650 from a pawn shop. It works great except that the display lights don't work. It was cheap though so that's fine. It came with the remote, but no manual.

Does anyone know where I can get a manual? I looked on Sony's site for a PDF or some other download, but found nothing.

    TIA for any help.

Brian, you should be able to get a hardcopy of the manual from Sony. I guess it depends on how old the component is, but you should call them. The number is 1-800-222-SONY (7669).

Thanks Keith, guess I didn't think they kept stuff like that around for oop products. They have it for $5, so I'm all set. Glad I don't need a remote, they wat $113.95 for one of those!

The remotes are worth more than the unit.

I have the 600.. if you run into problems let me know, I'll copy it off and send it to you for postage

BTW... The composite video looks much better than the s-video on mine...I found this out after a year of using the s-video.

If you have both, try both and see, yours might be similiar
