With the option to play Region 2 NTSC & Region 2 PAL, is there a website out there that can give me the following info:

A list of titles NOT available in Region 1.

A list of titles that are better than their Region 1 counterpart.

I remember having access to this info before, yet I can no longer find the site. This site is what led me to the anamorphic Region 4 - VACATION (1.85) - BABE (1.85) - PURPLE RAIN (1.85).

    HELP!

Try this list. It isn't comprehensive, but it's the most thorough one I'm aware of.

And here's a list of titles that have been released in R1 without an anamorphic transfer but are available 16 x 9 elsewhere.

For any film title, imdb.com lists any UK or German R2 DVDs from the Amazons in those countries. Unfortunately it does not list the French Amazon which probably has the greatest selection of not available in R1 titles.

Try these sites for region comparisons:
    http://www.bytesandbobs.com/dvdcompare/
    http://www.dvdcompare.org.uk/
But be aware that for some of the titles, they don't compare ALL the versions available. (For example, in their (both sites) comparison of Transformers the Movie, they only compare the US and UK versions, but they didn't compare the Canadian or Japanese DVDs.)
