I'm helping my parents to buy their first HDTV. Neither of us are experts but I've done some lite research and so far we've come up with these two: The Vizio L32-HDTV, for $699 at Costco, or the HYUNDAI Q321 for around $800 shipped at newegg.

Are there any other sets I should be looking at? Their price range is around $700-850. Primary use would be for simply TV/DVD watching. Not many requirements other than it being at least 32".

It sounds like the Hyundai has better PQ but you can't beat Costco's return policy if the vizio has problems. Any suggestions, comments would be helpful.

Have you looked at wal-mart. They have a 32" Sharp, Sanyo, and RCA for around that price. I prefer the Sharp.
