Subject says it all. I'm looking for a good DVC 10" driver (with decent Xmax) that I can make into a Home Theater sub. Anyone know of any?

Although it's a 12", I'd recommend the Dayton 12" DVC. XMax is 15mm. The specs are very similar to the Shiva.

Although it's not a DVC, the titanic 1000 from partsexpress does have a 12mm xmax.
Personally, for HT use I would definately go with a 15", or at least 12" driver. Box size will have to increase but the results are worth it.

Ever consider two larger drivers in a push pull configuration? Because they work together to move the same amount of air you need half the recomended box size of one driver and will lose half the distortion. The bad news is you need two drivers and they only reproduce the same amount of bass. I have had excellent results with 12"-21" drivers that would normally require huge boxes. Two NHT 1259 need only 1.8 ft3
dayton makes a good dvc 15" with huge excursion and you could wire them to 8 ohms. Swan has a good cheap(60$) 12"also. good luck!
