ok my budget is going to be about 2-3000 dollars canadian. please recomend me some projection to look at.like sont, lg, toshiba, ect.or should i save up another 2 grand and get something better. i watch a lot of movies in the day time, so i want something that can be good in sun light.

If you want to really enjoy your movies in the daytime then you will have to darken your room, no matter what FPTV you get but a projector like a Sanyo PLV70 will certainly do well with some ambient light and do your HDef very well also. This will be higher than the cdn$3K budget though.

Your first step should be to get some kind of window coverings to at least minimize the ambient light then your projector choices will increase. The Panasonic L300U is a popular contender right in that price bracket and it does scaling of 1080i very cleanly.
