Thanks - I didn’t realize my Marantz could play DSD files. Thank you for pointing that out. I will throw a few on a USB and plug it into the Marantz to test. I‘m new to home theater systems - I keep finding cool new stuff the Marantz can do.
In the meantime I’ve mostly been listening to FLAC files from HDTracks. And yes - if you have good speakers you can certainly hear the difference between high res FLAC files and CD quality or MP3 files. I listen to everything from POP to Classic Rock, Classical and most definetly Jazz.
