They look nice, but good God, for $899? Sheesh, I only paid $100 more for one of my couches (granted that's on sale and with out the warranty, but still).

Keep in mind that $899 is the SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE, I don't plan on paying full price.

Have you ever considered picking up old theater seats and refurbishing them? Sure, you don't get a foot rest but they give your room an authentic look and they're cheap. Oh, did I mention that they're cheap?

I took my wife to the A/V shop where I found these seats and she really liked them. I should have them in 2-3 weeks!

    Frank,

Very nice theater you have, and I really like the presentation of your site for it, too. Cool! I really like how clean your setup is in that room; looks like fun!

I'm glad you like those Salamander seats...I've got a trio of them coming myself. I get a really great deal thru my work for them, and my wife approves. BIG furniture changes happenin' around my house! [IMG]

    Cheers,
    Dan

So what did you end up paying for the seats?

Tim I agree with you on the referb idea. I found a theater down in Vancouver that was going out of business and selling to a church. They were giving the seats away as long as you haul. I took my trailer down and picked up 40 of them. Dropped them at a buddys barn and redid 11 of them for my room. We did new foam and real trick fabric and match the fabric around the "frame" of the screen for effect with rope lights. Take a peek at my site. I also gave some of the chairs to a couple I met at Costco who were looking at movie seats. They had the same guy do their chairs that did mine.

    Nice room again Frank
