Does anyone know if Looker's going to be coming to DVD any time soon. Ideally I'd like a commentary from Creighton but it would be nice just to have the movie.
    Cheers

I too would like to know about this one. The theme song by Sue Saad was one of my favorite pop tunes of the early eighties, and I'm a fan of both Albert Finney and Susan Dey (aka Laurie Partridge). Too bad it wasn't a more popular film.

Sounds like a perfect title for Anchor Bay. I'd buy a copy.

It was cut down a lot before it was released, so it would be nice to see what was removed by the studio.

This is definitely a job for Anchor Bay [IMG]
(along with Hawk The Slayer, hint-hint)
(oh yes, and Gotham, hint-hint again!)
(while I'm at it, I'll hint-hint The Monster Squad)
    (that's enough hint-hinting for now)
Looker is a fun film; I used to watch it every couple of years it was shown in the 80's... And then it disappeared from the TV schedules. [IMG]

You guys are right, at least MGM would release it. I was thinking more along the lines of their habit of releasing non-anamorphic versions of these older, lesser known films. But as you guys pointed out, it's better than not being released at all. [IMG]

Y'know, a co-worker and I were just talking about this film last week! [IMG]
We would BOTH buy this in a heartbeat if it were on DVD. A great technological theme, mixed in with a nice-lookin' set of, um, models. [IMG]

Wow. Glad to hear I'm not just some deranged nutter for liking this movie.
Also had no idea about deleted scenes and so forth so I guess there might be the stuff required for a decent SE.
I was lucky enough to see this twice on TV not so long ago and I really appreciated a second viewing. It deserves a release, especially with Crighton's name on it - it's not even released on VHS over here.
