Longer Interconnects vs longer speaker wire?

    Which will give better results? Longer unbalanced interconnects or longer speaker wire? High end cables not applicable.

    In theory, I'd go with longer speaker cables so long as the cables were sufficiently heavy gauge. The high impedance signal going through the interconnects is much more vulnerable to degradation through interference and cable effects.

    keep your interconnects as short as posible, this is where most noise is induced into the system. That's why they make interconnects so well shielded now.
