I have about 396 DVDs right now and I have been

collecting since Nov of 1998. I buy all movies that

I love but I also collect in the following areas.

1) I want to get all the AFI Top 100 on DVD

2) Animated Disney Movies

3) All Best Picture Oscar winners.

4) Christmas DVDs

I sometimes feel like I need to cull my collection

because I know I'll never be able to watch them

again.

But, A funny thing has been happening lately,

I have enough DVDs now that when I want to watch

a movie I fell like I am at Blockbuster. I look

through all of them and even see some that I forgot

I had. I like that feeling.

So, I don't think I will cull my collection. If I

liked it at one time then it is worth keeping.

This will really be the case when I get my Big

Widescreen HD-TV sometime in the next few years.

Gary,
I think your self doubts are merely withdrawal symptoms.:)
You are spending too much time in front of your computer screen and not enough in front of your home theater screen.
I prescribe a minimum dose of a minimum of 3 movies a day for the next week. If symptoms continue, increase dosage.:)
By the way, put me at the top of your customer list if you persist in that dvd inventory reduction program.:) :)
