Let's define first: Short-above the neck
Medium - between top of neck and slightly below shoulder
    Long - longer than shoulder

Medium length but done up at the back so it looks short counts as short.

I've always received surprised reactions from women when I tell them I prefer short hairstyles. Am I in the minority?

Long hair is my preference. IMO, very few women look nice with short or medium lengths.

Medium to long here. All depends on the woman. Some look better with long, others with medium.

    It depends on the women.

If the hair length looks right for their head's shape and size, it works for me.

I've noticed that I find women with short to medium hair more attractive. However, it's not just the length of the hair, but also the style.

I like short hair if the girl can do it with her facial type -- otherwise medium hair.

Long hair seems like "excess body tissue" to me and actually kind of freaks me out.

It really depends on the woman. Meg Ryan is the only woman I can think of off the bat that looks good in all lengths of hair.

Let's see, Agent Scully looked quite yummy with that short-to-medium hair during the X-Files seasons 1-6, especially in season 6 when it seemed a bit thinner or flatter.

Carmen Electra's long brown hair was [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] :b , whew, Carmen Electra, what a hottie. Looked great in long hair.

Sinead O'Connor [IMG] ...'nuff said. Seriously, though, I prefer not to see the back of a woman's neck. As long as the hair reaches the shoulders, it is fine by me...but don't give me any of that waist-length Crystal Gayle hair either.

I've found that Uma Thurman looks rather good with her Pulp Fiction do. She also was quite fetching in The Avengers.

I guess you's say I like short to medium. [IMG]

OK, let's face, when hasn't she looked good?

Long hair for me. It drove me crazy that one of my gfs had hair down to her butt. [IMG]

Medium-Long to Long hair for me. Nothing like running your hands through the long, silky smooth hair of your lady. [IMG]

Of course, it takes more than hair. More often than not, the hair has to suit the person. If the person is blah, who gives a crap about the hair.

(Yes, the exact same statement can be said about men as well!)

I've never been attracted to shorter hair-styles though. I always find them to be too masculine, and subliminally I always think of them as a sign of hostility. :b But we won't go there. [IMG]

    All of the above.
Hair frames the face many ways.
