    Hello gang,

I am new to the group, I have been given a Pioneer CLD 1070 Laser disc player. Was wondering if there is a place to purchase a remote control and get a users manual

    Hey Paul!

    Welcome to the HTF! :welcome:

I just moved your thread to our "Playback Devices" subforum to try and maximize the chance that someone will get you an answer to your question.

    Good luck!

Do you have some discs to play so you can enjoy your new toy?

Still have my 3 players and discs...mostly Criterion and box sets like Star Wars or The Godfather. Sill play them once in awhile and have a few lasers where no dvd or blu-ray was released.

For the price of that replacement remote, you could buy a refurbished Harmony 650 universal remote that will control all your components. I just checked, and the Harmony database includes codes for that Pioneer model.
