You can still get the 665 for $80 from Best Buy. Not the $50 I got mine for on sale, but perhaps there is plenty of stock to keep these available for awhile.

A phone would be a poor replacement for a remote. Want to change the volume? Unlike your phone, navigate to an app, click volume up. Convenient!

Besides, I don’t want to be on my phone when I’m watching a movie.

On that, phone as a replacement for a remote, what if you live in a house with others? Does everyone download the "app" and, if so, how do we establish who has the right to control? At least with a remote I can assume and keep (at all cost !!) control of said remote.

That’s a very, very nice remote. But I agree that being a Kickstarter, it may take years until it’s in someone’s hands.

It’s not even a Kickstarter. It’s a concept website. It’s pre-Kickstarter. Best of luck to them, but this is years away.

I note that the Harmony Control app on my iPhone and iPad was updated yesterday. Enhanced SSO support and Bug Fixes. No big deal, and I don't use the App as I prefer the actual remote, but good that they are still pushing out updates.

Hey everyone. How is your Harmony doing?

Mine, not so great.
I think mine is a 665.
Just simple taps on the table when I put it down are resetting the remote or turning it off.

Not loving that.
Bought it a couple years ago right when we learned of Logitech dropping the remotes.

Will have this device 2 years in April.
