I can get a brand new in box 0 hours Aconda 38 for $2499. The issue is that it is a black case. My understanding is that they went from black to silver to the newest "titanium" color. Is one better than the other? Did they make many chassis modifications from black to the newest?

    Thanks

The new version is "Basalt". The previous version that received all the accolades in the high end press was available in three colors, piano black, graphite (similar to basalt) and stratosmetallic (silver).

If you like the set and can get a deal, go for it. Just make sure it is brand new in box with full Loewe USA warranty. Loewe sold some refurbished sets of the previous model to employees late last year at very low prices, and those also would appear to be new in box. So, if you get one of those you should be paying a lot less than $2499.
