Immediate Boarding
Postmen in the Mountains
Dog Nail Clipper
A Silent Love
Miracle of Bern
Heart of Jesus
Naked Proof
Floating Landscape
Leon and Olvido
Illusive Tracks
Bad Education
Lightning in a Bottle

I've only seen 3 in that list but would highly recommend 2 of them (Spain's Bad Education and Facing Windows in Italian - both though are already out in DVD and should be screened with English subtitles). Well, I also like Being Julia but you should just rent it in DVD.

In addition to Arman's suggestions, "Miracle of Bern" and "A Silent Love" are also worth catching.

I agree with Arman (especially Bad Education).

Lighting in a Bottle is a US documentary on the Blues (especially one night at Radio City Music Hall). Very worthwhile if you like that music--but if not, you might not care for the movie.

Bring Julia has a standout performance by Annette Benning (Oscar nom) and some really fine cinematography.
