Hello to all!!! Do you know a way to listen an audio cd from all 5 satellites of a Home Theater together? With my current connection of the amplifier and the satellites the sound comes in 5 channel, and when I put an audio cd to my system I can't hear anything from the rear satellites!!!

I have a 6.1 system and the receiver has an option for 6 channel stereo. What receiver are you using?

AS drobbins suggests, there is likely a setting for "5 channel stereo" or 6 channels, or 7. Or something like that. Give us a make and model of your receiver, and no doubt someone can point out the method. A quick run through the ol' user manual would probably show it, too.

Because it's fun. I only have a 2Ch system right now, and actually miss 5Ch stereo when I have some music in the background while reading or otherwise relaxing. It's nice to have music surround you sometimes.

It is not what I would call "pseudo surround" it is still stereo. Except when coming out of 6 speakers, and not 2, the room is filled with music and not localized from one direction. This allows me to turn the volume way down and still hear it clearly through out the whole room. (And of course crank it up!)

I never use the fakey dsp modes when listening in 7-channel stereo. I'd describe it as making the sound "fuller" than with just 2-channel stereo. Listening to The Who wrapped all around and thudding out the bass is a true visceral experience.

Of course, for purist listening, two channels still rules.

Oh...yes I think is fun to fill the room with music as drobbins said!! And after all the 5channel audio isn't supported from every cd!!!

I listen to 2 channel music in Pro Logic II. I've been so spoiled with surround sound, that stereo just sounds like something is missing..............

I like being surrounded by the music.
